The chairman of Yash Raj Films (YRF), Aditya Chopra filmmaker who was famous for Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, was reportedly interrogated for four hours at the Bandra Police Station, a report in entertainment portal Peepingmoon mentioned.
Aditya Chopra was asked questions about his movie Paani that was shelved later. Paani was to be directed by Shekhar Kapoor and had Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role. While the filmmaker said that Paani was shelved due to creative differences with Shekhar Kapoor and not Sushant Singh Rajput.
Sushant Singh Rajput has nothing to do with Paani not being made, said the filmmaker in his recorded statement with the Mumbai Police on Saturday pertaining to the deceased actor’s suicide case.
Police has interrogated 35 others before the filmmaker including- PR manager Ankita Tehlani, actress Rhea Chakraborty, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali etc.
And a shocking turn came in the investigation when it was found that actress Rhea Chakraborty was using debit and credit cards of Sushant Singh Rajput.
